Oh joy!
First off, Nathan burnt his hand on Friday. I was making some french toast and Amelia had moved the chair over by the counter to help me. The griddle was warming up as I mixed the eggs. I turned around and then I heard Nathan screaming. I didn't even know that he had climbed onto the chair (that boy is way too fast). Apparently he grabbed it while I wasn't looking and he got a nasty burn on his hand. Then Amelia got sick yesterday. The day started just fine. She was excited for her cousins to come over to play and was being her normal self. As the day wore on, I started to notice the tale-tell signs. She was being lazy and whining. Sure enough, by the end of the day, she was done. She was crying, her breathing was labored and she didn't want to eat. By 7pm she was asleep on the couch. We took her upstairs around 8pm and then after that she started waking up every half hour crying. Justin got her to eat some fruit snacks around 10pm and then back up to bed she went. About 45 minutes later, she came downstairs saying, "Dad, I went back to sleep and had a dream." Then she asked me to move my feet so she could sit down on the couch next to me and watch some tv with us. She was very upset when we said no and sent her back up to bed. Justin was going to go help her and then she said (trying her best not to cry), "Dad, don't follow me. I can put myself back in bed." My little girl is growing up so fast. Luckily she slept the rest of the night without any incidences. She slept in this morning and was pretty lethargic all day. Just before Justin got home, she started acting like herself. As the night wore on, she was becoming the crazy little 4 year old I know. Amelia and Nathan were messing around and Amelia pushed Nathan and he face planted it right into the tv stand. He had a double bloody nose and a cut up lip. I was so ready for this day to be over before it really even started. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I'm sorry things are rough right now, but they will get better :) My old boss used to say "breathe in Jesus, blow out Satan" on bad days. It always made me chuckle, so there is my comedic (is that a word?) advice!
I am glad to hear Amelia is feeling better. I am sorry about Nathan.. luckily he is a toughy! Thanks again for watching the kids.
