Amelia amazes me

We have been working with Amelia to know the sounds of letters and to recognize them. Well the other day, she says, "Look, Mom. I can spell Dad." So she wrote out D-A-D. And then sounded it out. I thought at first it was a one time thing so I wrote out BUG and she sounded that out too. So my little girl is starting to read and she is doing it all on her own! Like I said, Amelia really amazes me.
