When It Rains...

...it pours. And then the power goes out. Last night it started pouring outside and then the power went out. It went out at the most inopportune time too. I was in the shower! Talk about awkward. It was pretty fun though trying to think of things to do with the kids. We had a few candles and a flash light so we decided to do shadow puppets, read some books and play with our shadows on the wall. Going without the power made me really appreciate it. Not cause i was bored. I had plenty of things to do to entertain myself and the kids. It was just so hot and stuffy. There was no breeze and it was so humid from all of the rain.
