Chronic Hypertension
Today I learned that the technical term for my constant high blood pressure throughout this pregnancy is Chronic Hypertension. Also, I learned that because of this, they aren't going to let me go to my due date. They are going to induce me early if I haven't gone into labor on my own by then. I think it will be the week of Christmas. When I find out more, I'll make sure to post about it. I was induced with both Amelia and Nathan. Amelia I had pregnancy induced hypertension and with Nathan I had gestational diabetes. I guess I am not allowed to have an uncomplicated pregnancy. And I was hoping that at least once I would get to experience natural labor but if she decides to wait, it looks like it's not going to happen. All well. At least if I am induced I know what to look forward to.

I hope everything goes alright for you Jenn..sorry you will have to get induced. As long as you and the baby are healthy then that's all that matters right? well ttyl.
Good luck with that. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help. Enjoy your last few weeks of rest (well, somewhat - in between the uncomfortable times!)
I had hypertension with my first 2 also. Then I had gestational diabetes with Ryan. I thought that I would have to be induced with Ryan like I had with my other 2. Then-surprise! He came early and fast. My advice to you is to be prepared for the possibility that since this is your 3rd pregnancy, you could be surprised. Good Luck!!!
What a fun Christmas present that will be! Hopefully, though, like Allison's third, she'll come early. Wow, there's a lot of commas in that last sentence.
