2 Weeks Old
We had Lily's 2 week well check today and things are going pretty well. She now weighs 7 lbs 14 oz and is 20.39 inches long. That puts her in the 50th %ile for height and weight. A few days after we brought Lily home I noticed a bump near her collar bone. I got a little concerned and just kept an eye on it. It didn't change much and she didn't fuss about it or when I moved her arm so I just waited for the appointment today. The doctor had us take her upstairs for an x-ray to see what was going on. I guess sometimes when babies are born, their collar bone can get broken in the process. That's what happened to Lily. The doctor showed us the x-ray and sure enough there is a fracture. She said it will heal on its own but to keep an eye on it to make sure that it doesn't bother her and that she still uses it. And here is a picture I took on Sunday of Lily in her church dress.

OH she's beautiful Jenn! So sad about her collar bone. Good thing it hasn't bothered her... what a natural toughy!
