I HATE COMPUTERS!

So yesterday, I tried getting on the computer. It would let me onto one page and then I couldn't get on anymore. SO I called up Verizon (thinking something was up with my internet service). The guy was only on the phone with me for about 10 mins and told me the internet should be fine. The problem was with my computer. SO I called Dell. I was on the phone with the technical support guy for 3 HOURS! We tried everything under the sun to get it to work. We even completely redid the hard drive. Wiped it all clean. The guy said that will fix any problem you have. SO he hung up. I tried getting online AND IT DID NOT WORK! I was SOOOO frustrated. So I called Dell back, got a different guy and he had me do a series of tests (which the other guy DID NOT DO). After about 20 mins of tests and him trying to figure out what is wrong, he said, it isn't your computer. From the tests that I did and from what you have done already, if it was your computer, we would know it. And we don't know wha tis wrong. So it is your internet. So back to square one. I called Verizon back and got a lady. After about 10 mins, she said that she had found the problem. Someone else had stolen my IP address and I was getting kicked off as soon as I was connecting. We tried multiple things to get a new IP for me, but my computer didn't want a new IP...it wanted the one it had. So we couldn't get around it that way. So after an hour of trying to figure out other options, she told me to unplug my computer and the internet brick from the wall completely and let it sit overnight completely off. They had me do that so they could trace the guy who IS using my internet so they could block him so I could get my access back. Well, I woke up this morning and I was VERY skeptical as to if they had corrected the problem. But, to my utter amazement, IT WAS FIXED! So now I am putting all of my old drivers and programs back on that I have put on it over the year that we have had the computer. UGH COMPUTERS!
