Conversation I had with Amelia the other night after cheer practice.
Amelia- Cole is my type.
Me- What?
Amelia- COLE is my TYPE.
Me- Who is Cole?
Amelia- A boy from my school (said with the attitude like "Duh Mom, you should know this."
Me- Oh. What do you mean "your type?"
Amelia- My type of MAN! (whispers) I really like him. (said with the biggest grin on her face).
Oh boy. We are in so much trouble.

Christmas with the Dennis'
While we were there we did our family Christmas gift exchange with the Dennis Family. We were even to have Aaron there via webcam. I love technology. It made it possible for Aaron who is thousands of miles away to be there in that living room with the family. The only person missing was Jill. But the work she is doing is so important.
Pictures and Turkey!
Two of my favorite things! I love taking pictures and I love eating turkey! Thanksgiving morning we took our family pictures. I loved the way they turned out.
The Family
Going Home
For Thanksgiving this year we were able to make it home. It was so much fun and we really enjoyed spending time with family. While we were there we had the chance to go to the Aliante Dinosaur Park. It was so cool. The kids really had alot of fun and they enjoyed spending the day with their cousins.

Nathan's 3!
On November 17th Nathan turned 3. We had some friends over for his birthday party and I think it went great. Right now Nathan is into pretty much anything boy. He loves footballs, basketballs, baseballs, cars, motorcycles, airplanes, cars, Cars, Hot Wheels, fire trucks. Anything associated with a boy, he loves it. Except toads and frogs. They're scary. lol He's such a helper and he loves his sisters. He really loves to tease or pick on Amelia. He's good at it. But he really loves helping Lily and he tries to make sure she gets what she wants.

Happy Birthday Little Guy!

So busy!
Things have gotten kinda crazy around here. I don't know where my extra time has gone, but it has gone somewhere. Maybe someone broke into the house in the middle of the night and stole it. I haven't really had a chance to blog since the beginning of October....OCTOBER!! I'm going to try to catch up but bear with me. It is going to take a while. So here we go!
Halloween!
Our building had a trunk or treat for Halloween this year. It was alot of fun to see all the different costumes and the kids had a lot of fun seeing their friends all dressed up. Justin took Amelia and Nathan around to do their trunk or treating and I stayed at the car with Lily to hand out candy. It was a great Halloween.
Our little pumpkin (I bought this costume for Amelia's first Halloween and every kids has used it for their first Halloween)
Our family
Pumpkin Painting
Here in Hawaii since it is so warm and humid the pumpkins rot and mold super quick if we cut or carve them. So we don't get the chance to enjoy them. But when we paint them instead they last for weeks. So for Family Home Evening we all got to paint our own pumpkins. The kids loved it and it was a great chance for them to be creative.

Oh kids....
This conversation took place in the car yesterday on the way home from Walmart. I had all three kids and was about to go crazy. This helped make everything better.
Amelia: Mom what day is today?
Me: Wednesday
Amelia: So that means yesterday was Tuesday.
Me: That's right.
Amelia: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday....so that means tomorrow is...
Nathan: HALLOWEEN!!!!

School Day at McDonalds
Last Saturday was School Day at McDonalds. A portion of the proceeds for the day went to Amelia's school so we thought it would be fun to go and make it a family day. Amelia has her picture taken with Ronald and gave Grimace a high five (Nathan wouldn't go near either one...who can blame him). We had a fun lunch together and Amelia saw friends from church and school. They had a car show sitting outside too. Ok, so it was about 5 Mustangs that people own in the community, but hey, they were still pretty cool. The kids really enjoyed it.
Almost caught up
Here's what it currently going on with the kids. Lily is sitting on her own completely now (she thinks she is such a big girl) and is stating to pull herself up on furniture. Amelia had her first picture day and was so excited. Nathan is a stinker as usual and everytime the camera comes out, he thinks he needs his picture taken too. The other day, Lily was playing with the bag of baby wipes while i was doing the dishes. She stopped making noise so I went to investigate. I found her passed out on the floor. It made my day. Amelia and Nathan never did anything like that.
Thunderbirds!
The Thunderbirds came to Hickam Air Force Base on September 19th & 20th. Naturally, since we're from Las Vegas, we wanted to go. Amelia had a birthday party that she had been looking forward to for weeks so we decided it would be a great boys day. So Justin took Nathan and they had a great time. Nathan was talking about the thunderbirds for days afterwards. He had so much fun with his dad.

Typical Girl
Lily LOVES shoes. Anytime she sees a shoe (whether it has a foot attched or not) she has to play with it. When Justin comes home from work, she lays by his foot and waits impatiently for him to take off his boots or shoes so she can play with them. (And that's a bow and headband that I made for Lily...see why I like to make them so much? They are just so stinking cute!)

I like to ride my bicycle....
...I like to ride my bike.
Ok, so not really. For some reason, our kids need alot of coaxing to get them to ride their bikes. We have to be constantly telling Nathan to keep pushing and keep trying or else he gets distracted and wants to do something else. Amelia was the same way. Once she got the hang of it, she loved riding her bike and wanted to do it all the time. It was just hard to get her to that point.

I Love Bows!
I have really gotten into bow making lately. I have made a few more since this picture was taken. I can't help it! It is so addictive and they are so easy to make. I have even started making pacifier clips. Those are fun too. I just love being crafty!
Erica's Shower
My best friend, Erica, is expecting a little boy in October. So I threw her a baby shower. She ahd alot of friends show up and we all had a great time. I had help from our friend RoseMarie. She helped me plan, setup and do the shopping. Our friend Genevieve had the cake made. It turned out GREAT! The theme of the party was frogs because frogs are green and Erica's favorite color is green.
Nate's Here!
My brother, Nate, came to visit us for about 2 weeks. We had so much fun. Since it is hard to take 3 kids anywhere we decided to take turns going out and doing stuff with Nate. Justin was supposed to be in China while Nate was here but the trip got canceled. Justin wasn't too excited about that but at least Nate was going to be here so that was a nice consolation prize. So Justin got a few days off to coincide with the Labor Day weekend and it worked out to where Justin only had to work one or two days while Nate was here. They were able to go out and do all sorts of fun stuff including the things that I won't go do. lol They went on a submarine tour and saw lots of fish and a turtle. People on the other side of the sub saw a shark but they weren't able to see it.
And they went on a hike to Manoa Falls.

I know they did a lot of other stuff too, but I don't have pictures for those things so I don't remember what they did. We spent Labor Day at Stephen and Brandi's and Nate and Justin went snorkeling while Stephen went spear fishing. He caught some yummy fish for us to eat for dinner. Brandi and I stayed at her house with the kids and we had a good time chatting and catching up. We all had a great time.
Justin took his first promotion test in June (or July I can't remember) and we had to wait until August 20th (his birthday) for the results. HE PASSED! Yay! So sometime within the next year he will put rank on and become a Staff Sargent. On August 28th there was a promotion ceremony for all those who passed. Amelia and Nathan were both getting over being sick and Amelia was probably still a little sick so she wasn't feeling too well. The only way to keep her content was to let her play with the camera. So these are the only pictures I got of the ceremony.
